John Clemens spent 25 years in secular radio and TV before entering Christian radio broadcasting. John began working with Marlin Maddoux at Point of View in 1983 when he answered a calling to report news of interest to conservative Christian radio listeners.
Besides his work on Point of View, John has also worked as a sports announcer for the Durham Bulls, Rochester Red Wings, Tulsa Drillers and in the American Basketball Association for the Texas Tycoons. He also worked for the Dallas Sidekicks of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
John is married to his wife of 39 years, Diana and has two grown children. He is also a Deacon in his church in Carrollton, Texas.
